1. About Typez
Typez is an iPhone keyboard and companion app that provides typing, cursor navigation, saved clipboard items, customization, and related features. Some features may be offered as a preview, beta, free feature, trial, subscription, or one-time purchase.
2. Permission to use Typez
You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Typez on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's applicable terms. Typez and its original content, design, and software remain the property of the developer.
When Typez is obtained through the App Store, Apple's Standard EULA also applies. If these Terms conflict with that agreement, Apple's agreement controls to the extent required.
3. Early access and beta software
Preview or beta versions may contain errors, change without notice, lose locally stored test data, or stop being available. Do not rely on a beta version as the only copy of important information. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used to improve Typez.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use Typez in violation of applicable law or another person's rights
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to Typez or its services
- Redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit Typez except where applicable law permits it
- Use saved clipboard items to distribute unlawful or harmful material
You are responsible for the content you type, save, paste, or share using Typez and for keeping appropriate copies of important content.
5. Purchases
Purchases, subscriptions, trials, billing, cancellation, and refunds are processed under Apple's App Store terms. Features and prices may change before purchase. Any terms shown at the point of purchase form part of these Terms.
6. Apple and third-party apps
Typez depends on iOS and the behavior of the app in which you are typing. Third-party keyboards may be unavailable in secure text fields, phone-number fields, or apps that disable them. Host apps may also limit the surrounding text available for cursor navigation and suggestions.
Apple does not sponsor or endorse Typez. References to Apple, iPhone, iOS, App Store, and TestFlight identify compatible products and services belonging to Apple Inc.
7. Privacy
The Typez Privacy Policy explains how the app and website handle information and is incorporated into these Terms.
8. Availability and changes
Typez may be changed, suspended, or discontinued, and features may be added or removed. Reasonable efforts will be made to keep the app useful and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Typez is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use Typez. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.
11. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as Typez evolves. The latest version will be posted here with a revised date. Continuing to use Typez after an update means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
